What is the lowest reasonable melting temperature for PCR primers? - primer annealing temperature real time lab on web

... Taq polymerase used. Temp default extension of 72 degrees. I had a brain fart and ordered primers with a melting point of 40 degrees (if you're by the rule of 2 / 4) and I'm not sure if this is the annealing 30something and see what happens, or new primers, which longer have to.

Arent most expensive primers. We ask the RTD as $ 10 per 20 bp primers or less. This realignment should not be a good investment.
But before this is undoubtedly the primer is 40 C. The annealing temperatures are not always an absolute cutoff. It could even above 40 ° C.. Try it out.
